INTERVIEW
Last Tuesday, all the Erasmus+ students went to the letters and filosofy university of Córdoba and we have done some interviews. Here is my interview:
- Why did you decide to be a professor in traslation and interpretation?
that I started with my teaching.
2. How much money do you usually earn in your job?
2000€ or 2100€/month.
3. Do you consider that your job is well paid?
No, but I love my job and I think it is enough.
4. What is your job about?
I can divide it in three branches:
The first that I love most is teaching.
The second one is researching.
The third one is my profetional carrear of a traslator.
5. How did you become a professor in traslation and interpretation? What did you have to study
to become a professor in traslation and interpretation?
I studied traslation and interpretation degree in Granada and after that I did a master in specialist
traslation and interpretation in Málaga.
What you need to be a professor in traslation and interpretation is to study a master and then to
do a PHD.
6. What is the best part of your job?
Teaching.
7. What is the worst part of your job?
That I have to spend a lot of time in my job.
8. When did you decide to become a professor in traslation and interpretation?
When I lost one of my jobs as a traslator.
9. If tou did not work in this job, what would you like to work in?
A tourist guide or a journalist or a teacher, I don't care if it is in English.
10. Have you ever thought about working in a foreing country?
Yes, I worked as a traslator in Luxembourg and I thought to work in USA.
